Starting the guide update service

Starting the guide update service
My guide does not seem to update on its own anymore. Does anyone know how I can check if the service that does this is running? The guide does update if I go through WMC and manually tell it to update. pain in the butt though.

If nothing else works, you can scan and repair the system files. Open a command prompt as administrator and run:BBB3000 wrote:My guide does not seem to update on its own anymore. sfc /scannow
If you customized your menus you'll have to fix it.

Might be a dumb question but have you got the automatic update setup? As far as I know this also updates the guide.
