Poll - Time is off on one of the servers?

Post by Crash2009 » Sun Jun 17, 2012 1:01 pm

I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed a wee bit of a time shift recently. I first noticed it Friday June 15 around 10 pm eastern US. My first thought was maybe I had some malaware or virus so I shut down that workstation. It is not an inconvenience to me. I was just curious to know wa-zup. After thinking about it for awhile, my second thought is that maybe TGB is undergoing some upgrades.

Anybody know what's going on?

I have included a screencap from this morning to prove I don't need new glasses. Maybe I'll post it later, upload is not working for me today.

Okay it was worth confirming thanks. I am Eastern -5 too and don't see the time as being off.

Random. I have only seen it twice. Friday night was the first time. I commented on it in the thread I was reading at the time.

It's correct for me...I had the time zone set wrong, but other than that it is always correct.

Once again we can blame this on operator error. I found the reason why TGB's times appear to be incorrect occasionally to me.

When I arrive at TGB, without logging in, TGB's time is displayed 5 hours ahead. For example, here in Michigan, the time is approximately 7am. If I do not login the TGB time will be Noon. After I login, TGB's time matches my local time.

Sorry for the confusion.
