DVB-T/T2 Quad Tuners with BDA Driver
I still have a 16 year old 'daily-driver' 7MC workhorse, and I'd like to ensure I have a stock of backup components in case of failure.
In particular my old TBS 6284 is a concern as I can't find an equivalent tuner card online.
Does anyone know of a PCIe quad-tuner card with BDA drivers for DVB-T/T2 signals in the UK, which is still available, new ?
Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

I think the latest incarnation of that card is the TBS 6205. It is listed as having a Windows BDA driver.
I have the 6285 which is the model released in between the 6284 and 6205.
The other option is to go for SiliconDust HDHomeRun network-attached tuner, which gives you added flexibility beyond HTPC use.

Another great option is the WinTV quadHD from Hauppauge (make sure to order the DVB-T2 version: they also make an ATSC 1.0 model).
Of all the options mentioned so far, it's likely the cheapest one (£99.99 on Amazon UK)

Thanks for the helpful replies. TBS product numbering seems so random, but I should've found the 6205 for myself.
However, the Hauppauge WinTV does look like a better value option, although I see there's no UHF pass-through.

Speaking of TBS, I'd be curious to see a TBS6209se - an 8-tuner DVB-T2/C2, ISDB-T/C and ATSC 1.0 card! - in action someday
Too bad it's crazy expensive (and the Linux support isn't that great: unlike the Hauppauge models, the driver doesn't ship with the Linux kernel and you have to build it yourself...)

The disadvantage of the 8-tuner TBS card is that it has a cooling fan (i.e. noise!). In contrast, the 4-tuner TBS cards do not have a fan (i.e. silent!). So, assuming that I had enough slots available on the motherboard, I would prefer two 4-tuner cards rather than one 8-tuner card.Kevin Chalet wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 4:07 pm Speaking of TBS, I'd be curious to see a TBS6209se - an 8-tuner DVB-T2/C2, ISDB-T/C and ATSC 1.0 card! - in action someday

Better for redundancy too.CyberSimian wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 12:14 pm I would prefer two 4-tuner cards rather than one 8-tuner card.

Oh yeah sure, such cards only make sense when you don't have enough PCIe slot available. Compared to other options, the $-per-tuner ratio is incredibly bad, so if you don't have a specific need for it, it's a poor investment
Still, 8-tuner terrestrial cards are very rare (to my knowledge, it's one of the very first models ever made). I'd love to see one in action (e.g in a HP T740 that has only one PCIe slot ).
