With Windows 7 ESU and Windows 8.1 reaching end-of-support on January 2023, many other people will probably have the same questions soon, so there is no harm in asking:
1) What is the most trouble-free way to install WMC on Windows 10? Is it the MSI package, or something else? I prefer trouble-free (less problems and breakages) over easy, so my question is whether the MSI is also the most trouble-free way on top of being the easiest
2) Are there any caveats I should know of (besides having to re-install every major upgrade, I also don't use CableCARD which is a known issue in modern Windows 10)
3) Is there a way to install WMC on Windows 11?
