Listings are updating but cant record series.

For some reason I canot record a series.
Example, if I try searching for The Big Bang Theory it tells me there are no results.
If I go to the guide listing, select an episode and tell it to record the series, all I get is that one episode.
The guide listings are visible up to Sept 18.

This may be related to the search index being corrupted or not having WMC listed as one of the items to index.

Kudos!
I checked Indexing Options and there was no entry for WMC, so I added it and let indexing complete.
Verified that I could now add a recording from the guide or search options.
Once again, a tip of the hat for your assistance.

Glad it fixed it for you and thanks for coming back to let everyone know it worked, many people don't do that and it may help others who have a similar problem.
