New LogViewer looks great except for.....

Nice addition to EPG123 1.7.1.7 is the color log viewer. The only issue I have due my age. Is there anyway to make the font size bigger. I have to break out the magnifying glass to read the text. Thanks....

That works great if you have a mouse. On one of my systems I have a small wireless keyboard + touchpad but no mouse. Would it be possible to add a browser-like CTRL/+ and CTRL/- function to control the zoom level? It is a PITA to break out the reading glasses

In my case, the mouse is always within reach, but the keyboard tends to wander. Any chance the viewer could just remember the last "zoom level"? Seems like that would cater to most situations?

Sorry, can't do anything about folding space just yet... I'll work on it though.

I did, however, just release 1.7.1.9. I had been beating my head against a wall trying to improve scrolling in the RichTextBox prior to releasing 1.7.1.8 and just gave up and released it. Of course, right after I released 1.7.1.8 I found a solution to the scrolling and text bounce on udpates so I went ahead and released 1.7.1.9 with the changes.

I was so keen to try the new log viewer that I broke my golden rule of not running the beta on my live system. Of course it promptly deleted all my channels!
For some reason 1.7.1.9 is giving all my channels a channel number of -1 then automatch is removing them.

I tried running again in case it was a SD glitch but the channels remained -1. I reverted to 1.7.1.7 and it corrected the numbers and restored the channels.

Had the same experience this AM & emailed logs, etc.. to Gary. Was in the process of reverting to version 1.7.1.7, so I'm relieved to hear it addresses the problem for the time being.

Wow, sorry about that. I moved/consolidated the channel numbering to a different location and when I did, integer channel numbers disappeared into the ether and the result is -1. Just released 1.7.1.10 to restore that.

Looks like when I added the [Ctrl]-[+/-] keyboard function, I lost the [Ctrl]-mouse wheel. I'll look into that.

IIRC [Ctrl]-mouse wheel worked fine in version 1.7.1.8 (last time I tried it)..

Probably not. It works with the plus/minus keys from a number keypad but not if you are trying to use the [+/=] or [- / _] keys. Is that the case?

Okay, the breaking of zooming with mouse wasn't due to adding Ctrl-+/- but due to overriding the richtextbox to remove smooth scrolling and text bounce. I've fixed both as well as allowing the +/- keys from the keyboard to work as well.

I also found that there is a minimum and maximum zoom allowed in a richtextbox that if you exceeded the value it would crash. I've put in safeguards against that. Anyone else find an issue that I can fix before next release?

OK that's the case. I was using the -/_ and +/= keys. Numeric keypad works.
