An unrelated problem with Win11 forced me to do a "Repair" install. This fixed the problems I was having with Windows but disabled WMC (once again.)
When I try to run WMC, nothing happens. When I try to run the WMC-8.5.5 installer, it tells me "WMC is already installed."
Does this mean I must uninstall WMC to install it again? I'm hoping there's a simple fix (maybe a Registry patch?)
TIA
Must I uninstall to reinstall?

Windows upgrades and repair installs remove some parts of WMC and leave others.
I (and other people) have tried to do repair installs of WMC but it never works.
To reinstall, it is necessary to uninstall whatever version of WMC that was there, reboot and install whatever version of WMC is desired.
Gary is working on a new method of installation for WMC but I don't know if it is ready for prime-time use yet.

Thx. I'll do a full un/re-install now.
