Hi,
Curios if anyone built a new computer recently. My Win7 MCE computer died after 11 years so I built a new one. Been so long I did not know I couldn't install Win7, only 10. Anyways my very old hauppauge hvr-1850 is not recognized at all even after installing drivers. Currently using my xbox one tv tuner. My question is, does anyone have this type of motherboard and have an internal tv tuner working? I emailed hauppauge this morning about the WinTV-quadHD and if it could.
MSI Z590-A PRO Intel LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i5-11400 Rocket Lake 2.6GHz Six-Core LGA 1200 Boxed Processor
Digital TV for Xbox One - using until I find compatible internal card
Hauppauge - WinTV-HVR-1850 - not recognized on new build
LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard

Looks like the 1850 is not supported in Windows 10. So you'll either have to upgrade it to a supported model, or find a way to install Windows 7 on a Rocket Lake CPU.

Thanks for the feedback.
Hauppauge got back to me.....off to ordering.
Hello,
We’ve not tested with your specific motherboard but the WinTV-quadHD should be recognized as it is based on current PCIe technology whereas your HVR-1850 was last manufactured in 2009 and may not be recognized on newer motherboards.
The only device we currently manufacture with FM radio is the HVR-955Q which is a USB TV tuner.
