Red bar in channel list?

#1

Post by RodBarnes » Mon Dec 21, 2020 4:36 pm

In the EPG123 client, I'm seeing a red bar as the background for some channels. Not sure what that means? Can't seem to find anything in the forum or anywhere else that explains this.

It appears this is related to new channels recently appearing? For example, I see four new channels (4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7) were added by one station. On the Schedules Direct listing, I do not see these new channels appearing. So, maybe that is why the red bars appear?

These four channels also appear with red bars in EPG123 client. (NOTE: I had to reinstall the drivers for my tuners which resulted in having to redo the setup of WMC which resulted in the loss of all my channel info I had manually entered. :-( So, doing the channel setup, I saw the new channels come on and then saw the red bars in EPG123.)

On the current version 1.6.0

Figured it out. The bars highlight new channels added since the EPG123 configuration was last saved. Saving the configuration prompts that new channels have been added. Opening the client after the save, the bars are gone.

Rows in the configuration GUI (EPG123 shortcut) indicate new channels added in your Schedules Direct lineup since you last saved the EPG123 configuration.

Cells in the client GUI (EPG123 Client shortcut) indicate that you have a custom number/callsign. There shouldn't be any rows highlighted, just the appropriate cells. You can click the [Custom Labels] button to see what the original values are.
