Nothing to do after the rebuild. When you click the button, it will prompt you that the guide listings will be empty until you import the mxf file. Once it deletes your current database and creates a new one it will open a file browser for you to open the epg123.mxf file. Once that is imported, you are done. The reindexing and scanning is done in the background. You can use WMC at that point without any worries.

The scheduled recordings should populate pretty quickly, it is the guide indexing and scanning your media files that can take a while.

Thank you Gary your instructions worked as you said.
Smooth operation and EVERYTHING is where it should be RecordedTV, Guide, and upcoming recordings perfect.
Now only time will tell if the process is what I needed.
EPG123 did its regular update this morning and was completed.

Glad it worked out. This is probably the least discussed and sometimes misunderstood feature with the client. If you find that the database is having problems, or WMC refuses to update some programs in the guide, this feature is a quick and clean solution.
