WMC EPG still working? I'm moving into a new home
I have not used my Ceton PCIx 6 in a few years, we had a cable company that was IP TV only we are moving into a house with Blue Ridge cable service and access to a cable card again, I saw information about M$ shutting down the EPG? Has this happened yet? And if so what can be done to get a working guide again?

The free guide from Microsoft breathed its' last breath around the end of March. There are a couple options out there to get guide data into WMC, but the best by far is EPG123 in both richness and reliability. There is a whole sub-forum on TGB that has been graciously provided by the admins and a website to provide instructions on how to install. You can be up and running in no time.
The program is free, but the guide data requires a membership to Schedules Direct which has a 7-day free trial, $6 for 2 months, or $25 for a year.

Just. Get. EPG123.
There is no other discussion to be had that doesn't completely waste your time.

It's called humor/sarcasm; it's part of every forum.
Seriously, read through the installation guide for EPG123 and post any questions in the EPG123 sub-forum. Gary and everyone else will be happy to help.

The guide quality in EPG123 is light years better than the old MSFT ROVI guide and worth $25/year. You will be impressed.

+1 to EPG123 and Schedules Direct. I've been running it for several years now and have never had an issue. It works so well that I haven't felt the need to update to the latest and greatest version that Gary has developed as my needs are quite modest: have an up to date schedule and a good channel interface.
