Program lists stop for some channels

#1

Post by SoNic67 » Tue Dec 31, 2019 7:57 pm

I noticed that for some channels, the guide stops tonight at 7PM.
I was on the previous version of EPG and updated to the newest one.
The log has some weird errors, please see attached.
Anyone has any suggestions?

Open the client and take a look at the bottom. What does the status bar say?

I don't know how to get rid of the non-EPG listings or if I should. If I use the x they come back next day.

So you still have a couple Rovi lineups in your guide, and the channels that are still mapped to them are the ones ending soon. Without doing a [Client Setup] again, unless you want to, here is what to do:

On the left side, click any channel and key [Ctrl]+[A] to select all.
Right-click any channel and select 'Unsubscribe'
Select the 'EPG123 Local Over the Air Broadcast (23608)' lineup on the right then click the Match by: [# Number] button on the left.
Select the 'EPG123 Verizon Fios Norfolk - Digital (Norfolk)' lineup on the right then click the Match by: [# Number] button on the left.

Every channel in your guide will have the EPG123/SD guide listings.

I don't know what tomorrow is going to look like, but at some point you will need to do a WMC TV Setup again to clean out some Rovi stuff and get your tuner channels in order. Also, since you have been using Rovi, I suggest you open the Transfer Tool to see if any Recording Requests on the right side are pink. The pink ones will not work with the EPG123 guide listings and will need to be converted.

There are, but they are doubled up. I guess I can delete them?
How can I back up the rest?

Click the [Backup] button in the client.
Open the [Transfer Tool]
For the pink requests on the right side, highlight each of them, right-click, and select 'Cancel'.
Click the [Open recordings backup file] and select the backup file created above
If you have any green series listings on the left, click the [ > > > ] button in the center of the form.
