Yes, there was a guide with no listings. It even had the *.2 and *.3 channels this time. (still missing the *.1 local channels though)

Well, that's good. If you reopen the client and let it populate, then you can import your guide data.

EDIT: Missing *.1 channels is weird though.

I have tried dozens of times to send you that backup and it always fails to upload. I did reopen the client and the "Maual import" was there. Trying that now.

YAY!

I have guide data.
I can record on the 10 Ceton tuners.

I'm still missing my 4 Hauppauge tuners, but I can live without them for now.
I'm missing several of my local HDs, but FOX is the only one I MUST find because otherwise I can't record FOX programs.

I'll try to send that backup file from work tomorrow. I even tethered my laptop to my phone and I couldn't send the file. I don't know what is happening with that.

Thank you and good night.

I switched over to EPG123 last night and had a very similar issue to what you initially described, as well as the issue where the extra tuners wouldn't stick (I went through that process 3 or 4 times before I gave up). I let the system sit overnight, and it seemed to fix itself...at least to the point where it was recording shows. One thing I noticed though was that I had a lot of partial recordings during that time...for instance, 9 minutes recorded of a 30 minute show. I'll check again later this evening to see if it's been able to record full shows. Looks like you got everything working, but I still wanted to comment here to let whoever needs to know that this wasn't an isolated issue.

From reports, I'm thinking my check on the tuner limit increase is having problems, though I don't understand why. If during Step 2, when performing TV Setup, it shows you that all your tuners are available to use and have checkmarks, then you can ignore the prompt that says it didn't stick. I'll need to find a way I can stress test this... or I could just always have the prompt but simply ask the user if they want to proceed or do Step 2 again.

I'll wait until after MS finally cuts the guide services and see if they do anything with WMC. I'm thinking that is going to change the steps needed to install EPG123.
