Lasrt time I updated EPG123, I went from green to yellow, now this upgrade, it's red. What color will it change to when I upgradse to 1.30.2? :-\

Seems to functioning properly and updating...WMC sees it as 1.3 and all the WMC options under guid are working fine. In the EPG123 log I have only this showing an error...

[11/30/2019 12:03:06 AM] [ERROR] The imported MXF file contained an ERROR in its status field

Hi Paul!

Any time you see that error there will be a specific error (or errors) earlier in the trace.log that will give you specifics. Please see the following example where "The imported MXF file contained an ERROR in its status field." is preceded with the actual errors that caused it:

The silence is deafening. I can only surmise that everything is good-to-go?

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm having a similar problem. The last 3 updates have been red x's. To make matters worse media center decided to correct a program error. It said the guide data would download again, but since its red xed I'm left with no guide data and no way to get it.

The error code is
Error using loadmxf.exe to import new guide information. Exit code: -1
Exiting import mxf file(). Failure.
Failed to import .mxf file. Exiting

EPG123 is your guide data, so you can open the client and click the [Manual Import] button and select the epg123.mxf file. That should be it.

There's a utility specifically designed for EPG123 users to help easily extract and display information, including errors (red) and warnings (yellow), from their trace.log files. This utility has been under near constant development for over two years and the most current version is 1.7.5 (Oct 6, 2019).
