On a whim I checked Ceton's Website tonight and it's back online.
If you want or need to archive anything and you want it from their site now is your chance.

Wow, I'm amazed they brought it back up. It even has a 2019 copyright date at the bottom of the page.

Nice to know but not that handy since my attempts to get a Windows 8.1 system up and running have failed due to blocking of product keys by Microsoft. :(

Have you tried calling MS directly to see about activating your key?

If you "phone" MS and are successful in getting your 8.1 system activated, you might want to consider using Josh Cell's Windows Activation Backup at the MDL Forums

I've used this on multiple Win 7 installations over the years and it's restored my "valid" (online or phone activated) Win 7 activations without having to go through the online or phone processes again. His notes say that Win 8.1 phone activations can be backed up and restored. This might save you some headaches in the future.

How are you trying to activate? I tried the following:

1) Install Win 8.1 pro using a generic install key, followed by installing WMC upgrade using a legit WMC key. It came back saying it wasn't activated and when I called it didn't activate.

Attempt 2: Install Win 8.1 with WMC using WMC key. After it installed, it said it wasn't activated and when I called the activation line it wouldn't activate

Attempt 3: Install Win 8.1 pro using generic Win 8 pro install key. After it was installed, switched to my actual Win 8 pro key and tried activating on line. Didn't work. Tried calling the activation line and activation worked.
Installed WMC upgrade with actual key. WMC installed, but Windows not activated. Called activation line again and was able to activate. Created image of machine

I used the method detailed in another thread, installing WMC 8.1 Pro with a generic key, then changing to a purchased 8.1 Pro Pack key to activate. Did not activate, gave error message that this key has been blocked from activation. There was no phone number given to activate (which is what I have seen before with reinstallations of Win XP and 7 in the past), so I did not call.

Thanks for posting. I downloaded all files, youtube links, etc last night as I plan to run my Ceton cards into the 2020s! My oldest Ceton card is over 8 years old and still running strong.
