Trying to download, getting errors

#1

Post by bros » Sun Sep 29, 2019 1:10 am

I go to http://epg123.garyan2.net/?page_id=461 and click on any of the .zip files and I am getting:
Error 404 - Not Found
The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

I have tried it with:
http://epg123.garyan2.net/downloads/epg ... 2.18.0.zip
http://epg123.garyan2.net/downloads/epg ... 2.18.0.zip

with each going back to 1.2.14.0

I have gotten the same error in multiple browsers on multiple computers (Chrome and Edge on both computers)

Sorry, I'm in the middle of trying to update the website. The downloads have temporarily been removed. My plan is to be completed in the next couple hours.

Okay, thanks for the quick reply! Don't be worried if you see a new jersey IP trying a bunch of random URLs in your access log - I was checking if the download links were maybe incorrectly linked or spelled (download instead of downloads, different cases, etc.) :P

New site is up. Let me know if you have any issues... I'll still be working on it in the background but it is usable now.

Thanks. It is still a work in progress, but I think the homepage turned out pretty good.

Yes, looking good and ready for all the extra "business" Microsoft are about to throw your way.

I like the way Microsoft is advising people that they, "need to configure an alternate TV listing provider". How would you even do that without EPG123? They don't proved any UI for configuring an alternate source.
Are you a Recorded TV HD user or want to give it a try? Check out the new community-made update; Recorded TV HD v2.1.1

Yah, I'm wondering if when the day comes, they're just going to change ehshell to simply point to the location of an alternate provider's MXF file instead of looking up TV headends. That would be a nice thing to do.
