Adding VHF Channels

#1

Post by tomlando » Tue Apr 02, 2019 3:12 pm

Last Friday I added some new hardware to my HTPC and decided to upgrade from the original version epg123 to the newest. I can not seem to get the VHF channels working in the guide. Using the client guide tool page I am trying to get channels 2.1 and 2.2 on the right side over to the left side. First I am left clicking on 2.1 on the right, then I am right clicking on channel 50.6 on the left and choosing subscribe. The service name details change to the channel I want to add. good. Then I right click the newly added and change the call sign name. The call sign is correct and no longer highlighted in pink. I do the same to change number, but it stays highlighted in pink. In WMC it shows the correct information, but it goes to the original channel 50.6 when clicked. I am obviously doing something wrong in this process.
I have tried several times, spending over 8 hours trying to correct this and then going back to ROVI to record my shows. Can someone help me, please?
Thank you.

Check out page 13 of the installation guide for adding VHF channels to your tuners. The channel numbers on the right side of the client gui are really for reference only and do not change any tuner parameters.

For your VHF channels, you are going to need to know the physical channel number (2-13) as well as your logical channel numbers.
