Feature request for Modern Media IP Control

I glanced at the site, and I see that W10MC has added an application for IP control of Windows Media Center. Because I would guess that this has some base in VMC controller, would it be possible to add an event broadcaster service that other programs can consume. For instance, I was able to setup a python script that listened for events from VMC controller, and use this communication to create a simple automation system.
