v1.2.6 Release

#1

Post by garyan2 » Sat Oct 20, 2018 8:40 pm

Minor update. Releasing now to make it easier for those upgrading from v1.2.1 and before. If the old scheduled task is not deleted and a new one created, the update will still work... it will generate a warning though.

Not that I'm using Plex as Emby is superior but does this include the Plex fixes?

If we're on 1.2.5.2 do we need to do anything with the scheduled task?

BTW, my executable is in c:\epg123 (not in Program Files) if that makes a difference.

Thanks Gary!

You're all good. You don't have to anything special and everything will work as it does currently.

Thanks for verifying, but should clarify.

If when using v1.2.5.20 the option to "Use Plex friendly channel ID's" was enabled in the XMLTV Configuration, then v1.2.6.0 will cause the Plex DVR to break and it will have to be deleted and created again. If that option was not enabled, there will be no change and the XMLTV file from v1.2.6.0 will work as before.

I was unsuccessful getting Plex to work again, facing the same "File Not Found" error that plagued the initial setup until it just magically and randomly worked one day/try. What triggered it to work is still a mystery to me.
