The EPG123 status icon within WMC is always RED.
At the bottom of the trace.log, it says Completed EPG123 update execution. SUCCESS.
There are no errors in the log, only warnings like this:
[8/30/2018 4:01:30 AM] [WARNG] Time discontinuity detected. Service 62043 (TYCINTL) SH012857740000 (entry 17) ends at 2018-08-31 01:00:00Z, SH008577740000 (entry 18) starts at 2018-08-31 00:00:00Z.
[8/30/2018 4:01:30 AM] No further discontinuities on TYCINTL will be reported for 2018-08-31.

With just warnings, it should not be RED ... should be YELLOW. What is the date stamp on the logo?

The icon shows 8/29/2018. I deleted all the trace logs and clicked “Save and Execute” in the GUI. The EPG123 icon in WMC remains unchanged.

So you are not successfully importing the new guide data. Is the MXF file current, and if so, do a manual import using the client to see if that is successful.
What version are you running?

I am running version 1.2.4. When I deleted and re-created the scheduled task after the last upgrade, I forgot to check the box to automatically import into WMC. The EPG123 icon in WMC now has the correct date and is yellow instead of red.

I was having the same problem which is what brought me here. I was re-running epg123 from the icon on my desktop to get updated program info every 2 weeks when the program guide would tell me that I had less than 3 days of guide left and it would say it was complete with the download but hadn't really downloaded anything.
I looked at my "Scheduled Task" section in the lower left of the screen and the 2 boxes were checked to import guide data and match stations but they were greyed out. So I clicked the box "Clear Cache" and waited a while, then I clicked the delete button in the "Scheduled Task" section. The button changed to create (I think that's what it said) and it allowed me to check both buttons again, then I clicked "Save & Execute". This appears to have fixed my problem, the EPG sign on the menu screen is green and may help others. I don't know if all of the steps are necessary and I am by no means an expert. Also, I am using EPG123 v1.2.2 and will update to the most recent version when I have more free time.
