Hi
I have installed the 64bit windows 10 version 1703 but it won't open. How can I fix this?

1. 1703 15063.413
2. WMC_6.3.9600.16384_x64_v12.7z
3. hauppage win tv - HVR - 2215 (F123)

Installation completed and the program showed up in my "recently added" in the start menu. However, I wasn't able to open the program as administrator or not. I tried going to the location and opening from there without success. I tred Launchy without effect.

The program no longer shows up in the start menu.

CableCard Tuners have been broken since AU 14393

Try this..

14393, DVBLink, HDHR-3CC, WMCv8.8

1) Start out with a fresh 14393..Nothing installed on it except for WinRAR. Give the PC a name, Join the Workgroup, and Enable File Sharing.

2) Install HDHR-3CC and setup all 3 tabs. Make sure you do the CableCard Channel Scan.

3a) Test Live TV is working using Windows Media Player.
3b) Install WMC, Don't set up anything, Don't even open it.

4) Install DVBLink. I think I only needed Server, IPTV, and TV Source, I may have activated them all.

5) Configure the Server.

5a) Go to IPTV Source, click on Remote, type in the IP of your HDHR-3CC, click the arrow->
5b) Go to Channels, Select All, Right Arrow, Select All, Save
5c) Go Tv and Media Library, up in the top left corner, click the icon to organize the channels so that channel 2 is at the top. Click (in my case) WJBK-don't click the empty EPG. Channel should play.

Hi

I don't think I have a CableCard Tuner. I have a hauppage win tv - HVR - 2215 (F123).

I have been unable to download WMCv8.8 from sendit.cloud.

Have finally managed to start downloading from that post. Will take another 2-0 minutes. Will uninstall the other version while I wait.

I used your link also.

Both versions are 70387 kb.

I didn't have v8.8.1 installed.v I had the original. I uninstalled it. It still shows in the start menu and Revo can't find anything extranous in c:\windows\ehome.

I'll try installing v8.8.1.

I couldn't install as already installed. uninstalled with v8.8 (as you said). I then installed and it opens. Will now attempt to configure!

mostly configured and working but the scan is picking up old local stations rather than current ACT stations. I know the frequencies, is there a way to scan them?

Despite using old details, it seems he current frequencies are being used.

As far as I can work out, all is now working well.

I had to make .wtv not smart play in zoom player and use date modified, not date in windows explorer.

Over and out.
