HDHomeRun Prime Xbox 360 stand alone recording
Hi, I'm thinking about switching my Infinitv for the HDHomeRun Prime. One of the main reasons would be to have my HTPC off and record with my Xbox 360 (besides that I can't wake my computer up and have the Infinitv come back on). Is this possible? Would it record to the Xbox drive itself? I have a Netgear 3700 that I can plug an external drive into. Could I record to that?
Thanks.
Thanks.

you cannot record to the xbox.
the tuner must be connected to your HTPC; the xbox only acts as an extender.

let's try to figure out why, when your computer wakes up, the InfiniTV tuner doesn't "come back on".
Which InfiniTV do you have--internal or external?

I agree. Fix the problem instead of trying to figure out a workaround. I would recommend submitting a ticket to Ceton via their website.

Agree, I don't have a problem with my ceton not coming back on at wake or boot.. Sounds like you may have another issue.

Then absolutely, you should open a ticket with Ceton. They are very good with their support. Plus, it's easy to gather diagnostic information.
Put the machine to sleep, wake it up, see that the problem has occurred, then open their utility and let it get the diagnostics. Send them the diagnostic report when you open the ticket.

The other thing to do is to not put your computer to sleep. How much time and effort is it worth it to you to troubleshoot a problem that may only be costing you a few dollars per month.
