Wanted Hauppauge 1229 WinTV-HVR-2255 or 2250

#1

Post by lurch66 » Mon Apr 18, 2016 4:39 am

I just installed a new tv antenna just to find out my old Avermedia tuner bit the dust. Does anybody have a Hauppauge 1229 WinTV-HVR-2255 or the older 2250 they are parting with? Hopefully with a copy of win TV. The good news is when I hook my new antenna direct to my TV I get over 100ch free over the air. most Phoenix and some Tuscon.

I just bought one of these, you may want to check it out.
I haven't had a chance to run it yet but it comes with WinTV8

I have an HVR-2250 some place. I even have the remote and daughter card. I will see if I can located it in the box of computer stuff in the garage this weekend. You should consider EPG123 for your guide data in WMC too.

Thanks for looking!!Let me know the price over pm and I can pay pal it. and yes I have been looking into EPG123. I'm just not ready to reprogram all the recordings just yet. Looks like a great alternative though. May be the only one available soon.

I have not located it yet. I think it is in my storage unit. I will look there next weekend.

I have not located it at this time and see that Viking has one readily available. If that works out better, I'm okay with that.

I am very thankful for the trusting people on this site. Viking worked with me to try and get a working card but I was unsuccessful. Thank you very much Viking!!

Sammy2 did you ever locate your card? If not I am thinking of just ponying up the cash for a new one. Hope to have better results. Thanks again.
