I hope he returns soon. I found the paypal receipt in my email but not the activation code. I paid for it a long time ago and don't mind paying again to get this set up.

I take it #1 is a BIG list!makryger wrote:Yes, Canada is #2 on the list, after I finish dealing with the US.STC wrote:As I am inept at anything arty, are you able to knock up some missing Canadian logos if I send you the list?!
I'd offer to throw some cash your way for completing them for me.

STC, there are a lot more Logo's in the most recent update. I don't remember seeing the Music Logo's before.

The Music Choice logos have been there as long as I can remember. I find them redundant and nearly impossible to read anyway, so I just assign to the same logo to all my music channels.

Why don't people just add their own logos? If I'm missing a logo, I just add it myself. I've done it at least 50 times. No need to wait years.

I got tired of looking at the original of this one. Opened it up in Paint. Gave it a black background. Used a red font jacked up to 50 with italics. Save as a .png to ProgramData\MCL\Logos\Custom. Opened MCL and clicked on the old look, and installed the new look. Its not as pretty as the pro's do it, but to me, its better than it was.

So far, a few of the tweaks are not working for me:
1) number of Row's
2) number of Row's in MiniGuide
3) 3 hour view
Is this a limitation of W10/WMCv11 or MCL?
BTW, I owe you a Donation, when you enable the site again.
Hi Crash, I've done the same thing. It would be great to get the number of Rows added as functionality for the W10 port.

Hi, I just installed MCL on a new PC after having used it for years on an older PC. I am having the same issue where nothing in the Guide tab will work. My PC is Win 7 Pro x64 and I tried reinstalling MCL as administrator but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas to troubleshoot this?Crash2009 wrote:I installed MCL in ported W10/WMCv11 yesterday. I don't know what they did to the latest WMCv12 for Win10 but all MCL Features work now. Sorry I don't have any suggestion for you.

Update: I installed the MCE Reset Toolbox Lite trial and hit "Fix MCE Menus" and now my guide settings from MCL are there. In case anyone else is stuck try that

Same issue here. Updated the guide yesterday using DVBGuide which add "-DVBGuide" to the end of every channel name when viewing the channels listing source. e.g. "BBC One" becomes "BBC One -DVBGuide".IT Troll wrote:In the UK we are having big guide data problems - the download from Microsoft completes OK but ended on 6/9/2015.
Some of us have resorted to injecting OTA listing data into Media Center. I am using DVBGuide to do this which adds new listings into Media Center. When I switch to using one of these listings for a channel I lose the MCL logo for that channel. The channel is still named the same but it is just using a different listing.
If I launch MCL it doesn't list the channel in question; either in channels with logos or channels without.
Hopefully the official guide data will get fixed soon. But I was wondering why MCL is behaving like this? Just in case this turns into a long term issue.
When browsing the Guide the -DVBGuide isn't shown.
When using the MCL application any channel using the DVBGuide data doesn't show in the list.
When using MCL from within WMC the channels are shown but when a logo is added to any DVDGuide channel it is applied to ALL DVBGuide channels.

Thanks for this, always had about 10 channels that I just delt with that didn't have logos....Crash2009 wrote:I think I see what the problem is...I'm running all HD channels. There is no STRZEHD (Starz Edge HD) logo in the C:\ProgramData\MyChannelLogos\Logos\Big.....folder. So like you suggested I picked one. I used the Starz Edge (non-HD logo). I probably should lock that one Huh! In case MCL decides I'm better off with no logo.mdavej wrote:There's a button on the main screen to browse for a logo. Just go to the big logos folder and pick one. It helps to change your file explorer view to extra large icons.
But you need to identify which call letters go with which network first. Maybe look on Titan TV or Zap2It first.
FWIW, I usually have to manually assign about 80 logos when I set up MCL.
I suppose I could also just make a copy of strzE and rename it strzEhd. I don't care if HD is not on the logo.
I guess MCL did OK on my setup.....I only have 105 channels and it auto-populated 94.
With a little help from you manual-populate was pretty easy.
Thanks for the help.
