Over the air guide is 2 hours off for all channels using Windows Media Center and
EPG123 at zip code 54130. For example the 6:00 news on several channels is showing
it starts at 4:00 on the TV guide. My temporary solution is turning the clock back two
hours on my computer so the correct shows will record.
I have confirmed that Schedules Direct has the correct times in there listenings. I am new to EPG123 so perhaps there is a setting I am missing?
Thanks

If it is for all channels, then there is something wrong with your machines Date/Time/Zone settings. All program start times are based on UTC time and your computer determines what time that is locally based on those settings.

I recently installed epg123 and updated to the 12/31/19 version on Windows 7 sp1 WMC. I tried the tweaker to increase the number of guide lines and nothing happens. It seems to make changes to the Microsoft.MediaCenter.Shell.dll file for epg as the date gets updated. I also downloaded a windows 7 sp1 10 line version of the .dll I found and it also does not make any changes to the displayed guide. I verified that take ownership worked and can see the differences using reshacker.
I may try mclXL which is now free to see if that works. Any hints to get the changes to take in WMC from the tweaker?

Have you ever used MCE Reset Toolbox in the past? It does a bad thing and makes it so the guide tweaks won't work, I think the same will happen with MCL XL.

Hmm, I have used MCL XL (and am still using it) but I was thinking of uninstalling it and going with the all-in-one capabilities of EPG123 to do my guide customization. Does this mean I can't do that? Or, will uninstalling MCL XL allow me to use the EPG123 tweak features?

It is MCE Rest Toolbox that causes problems if you've used it in the past to change the number of rows and/or timespan. The only way to "recover" is to remove WMC, reboot, and add it back. MCE-RT screws up the GAC copy which blocks the tweaks that EPG123 and MCL XL try to implement.

Ah, OK, I misunderstood your earlier comment. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm getting the show "Mom" that's set to record "New, anytime", "Channel: HD Preferred" and it's scheduling to record reruns on Paramount Network every weekday at 8 AM through 11 AM.
Zap2it is showing that it's not "New".
I could set it to "HD only", since I don't have Paramount in HD, but it doesn't seem like it should be setting those to record.

If the episodes that are being scheduled to record have generic descriptions, then WMC will treat them as new. Without positively knowing if it is New or Repeat, it will operate on the safe side and go ahead and record it. Is this the case?

Yes, it looks like these all have generic descriptions in WMC, but have episode names, numbers and descriptions in Zap2it.
For example, Monday's episode at 8 AM on Paramount from Zap2it:
Mom
Crazy Eyes and a Wet Brad Pitt
SEASON 2, EPISODE 6
8:00 AM ON PAR 57 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC
When Jill (Jaime Pressly), the wealthy woman Christy is sponsoring, asks for company on her first night out of rehab, Christy and Bonnie wind up in the lap of luxury.
But that's not showing on my WMC guide.

And your status logo on the WMC home screen has today's date and green/yellow? We just may not have updated guide information from Schedules Direct yet.

Yea, I was wondering about that logo too. I didn't see anything on your site or install instructions (faq?) about it and I haven't read everything here.
I have a little TV in the lower right corner that has 1/4/2020 below it and it has a yellow screen with an ! and a green plus in the upper right.

Please let me know your zip code and lineup you are using. I'll check the data from Schedules Direct.
EDIT: NVM, you already gave me that info. Be back soon.

Usually "generic" listings are used for episodes that are more than a week from airing. As the date comes closer, those episodes are usually updated with ESI (Episode Specific Information) and they will be removed from the recording list if they don't match the criteria of your Series (in this case if the OAD is not within 7 days of the airing date, which is how WMC determines if an episode is NEW).
Zap2it may be ahead of Schedules Direct, give it another day to update. Or there could be a problem with the scheduled updates as well which Gary is checking.

The data is there. Could you open the client and post a screenshot of it with the Paramount channel showing on the left?

I don't know if there's a way to post an image without using a url. I did send you a PM with zip and lineup.
If this is just a delay in getting the data updated, then it's fine. I can check it again tomorrow.
I remember checking Zap2it when I was first seeing this a couple of days ago and I think it was generic descriptions but I'm not positive.
Also, my SD trial ended yesterday and I'm not sure if it was before or after the update. In any case, I've subscribed so the new data should be updated tonight.

I don't think it is a delay, I just want to make sure you are not using MS/Rovi guide data. Without the picture to point it out, open the client, find Paramount in the list, scroll to the right until you see the 'Subscribed Lineup' column, and let me know what it says.

Okay. If you want to wait until tomorrow, that is fine. If you want to know now, the open EPG123 and click the [Save & Execute] button. When it gets done and imports, we should see everything updated.
