Thanks! Yup, I figured that out after reading through the log again, but I appreciate you helping too! It must have gotten reset with all the mucking around I was doing. Everything's working and back to normal now--I have data through the 10th. Phew.

Had a slightly weird SD token error this morning during the schedule update. However, it worked fine a few hours later when I did an on-demand update. Hopefully, just a one off.

Suddenly I'm getting the "There was an ERROR generated during the MXF file creation" error when my program guide tries to update. I upgraded my version of epg123 from 1.6.5.1 to the latest 1.7.1.12, rebuilt the WMC database in the EPG123 client tool, rebooted several times, but still no luck. Every time I try to manually update I'm getting this error. Any idea as to how I can fix this error?

i fixed my Guide today using [Save & Execute].

Description of problem that was solved today:

The problem was that all channels displayed "No DATA" in EPG on all Extenders (Xbox360s) and in EPG on Win7 PC.

--My EGP123 is scheduled to run update everyday at 4:15 AM.

--Around 5:30 AM went from one Extender to another (after shutting down the previous one).

--Started the other Extender and noticed an Error Box in lower right that stated:
something about an Error caused the Guide to be something something and you should check if scheduled programs and series are correct.

Ran [Save & Execute] in EPG123 and the problem was fixed. And all scheduled programs and series were correct too.

You may wonder why EPG123 is requesting your verification before updating the guide in this circumstance.

The reason is that in the past, some lineups have been updated in error to remove a large number of channels. If you allow an update to occur when a large number of channels have been removed from the lineup (when they should not have been) you will end up with a guide that does not include those channels, and ANY scheduled recording that was assigned to those channels will no longer record.

In order to prevent this "disaster", this check was put in to place so that the guide will not be updated until you verify that the channels that were removed from the lineup is a valid change, and should proceed.

This event is triggered when a certain percentage of channels are removed from the lineup, the message in the log can be confusing, especially if there were not only channels removed from the lineup but also other channels added to the lineup.

In this case it's warning you that the number of channels to download is less than the total number of available channels, which doesn't make much sense, since there would only be a problem if the total number of channels to download was GREATER than the total number of available channels. I'm not sure why this confusing message is the way it is, but Gary insinuated it has something to do with channels also having been ADDED to the lineup. I believe that Gary also indicated he would be correcting this message in a future release.

Yes, the language will be different on next release... more to the effect of "Of the XXX stations expected to download, only YYY stations are available from Schedules Direct". I also added a line in the log to show what stations have been added along with the existing line to show what stations have been removed.
