I had deleted a whooooole bunch of channels that I don't actually have from my lineup, but some recent update brought them all back again. Any idea what caused that? And how I can keep it from happening again? It was a very tedious job to remove them.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
All my deleted channels came back!

Not sure what would have brought them back except for maybe a recovery of before the time when you deleted them. You are talking about deleting the channels on the left side of the client, right?
It shouldn't be that tedious to delete the channels. You can use shift-click to select a whole range of channels in the client to delete on the left side. To not download stations that you don't get/subscribe to, use the configuration GUI to unselect them for download. Doing this in the configuration GUI is a bit tedious but worth it to reduce the downloads and speed up the updates.

You know what, it appears Comcast just added a bunch of new crap channels. I'm pretty sure that's what it was. I appreciate your input!
