I'm a little confused by the question. All you need to do is enable the option to 'Create XMLTV file' and it will create it right along with the MXF file. Is that not working for you?

I would like it to create it on a schedule. Right now it only creates the xmltv file when i click save and execute not on the schedule. It only creates the MXF file on schedule

Seems to work now...mayby the scheduled task does not have access to that folder, how is the scheduled task run?

I fixed it by editing the scheduled task in windows. There i could specify a user to run the task in stead of the system running it. Works great now!!

Right. If you are trying to save the xmltv file to a shared drive then you will need to change the user of the task to an account that has access to it. By default the task uses the SYSTEM account.
