I just updated to win10 2004. I could not get MCE to work so moved from WMC v8.8.4 to v13_84. After replacing the dlls cmd, I got MCE to work.
When I run the EPG123 file now, I get this error saying EPG123 has not been registered as a source for Media Center event logs. With running the EPG123 Client now (after rebuilding WMC database, it cleared the error with that app.
Everything works after that and can update the lists, but how can I fix this error? I do not see a tool to fix it.
Thanks,
PurpleB

Run the configuration gui "as administrator" to register it again in the event log. The client did it for itself when you did the rebuild which opens with elevated rights to perform that action.
