Wrong station ID in EPG123
Provider:Charter Spectrum - Digital, Type:SD-JSON, Zip:, Lineup:USA-MA54546-X
re: 777: WBTSCD "WBTSCD (WBTS-CD)" [NBC] (stationID 91446)
This lineup channel 777 is WBTSCD, NBC Boston. The EPG123
configuration app shows this correctly. The EPG123 client Guide
Tool V1.3.9 shows "WYCN Boston HDTV".
This causes there to be no scheduling entries for 777 on the Windows Media Center schedule.
Note that WBTS and WYCN have a history where they swapped ID's, so
the WYCN related to channel 777 is old data that needs to be corrected to WBTS.
Refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WYCN-LD
** Since the channel number 777 is correct, how/can do I use the "Match by: # Number" option to possibly get around this issue?
Thanks,
Dave

Just make sure your Charter lineup is selected on the right side of the client and click the Match by: [# Number] button.
I would suggest you do the manual method of subscribing (mapping) a single channel, but if your channel in the client on the left side says "WYCN Boston HDTV", it sounds like it is mapped to an old MS/Rovi lineup. If you take a look at the 'Subscribed Lineup' column on the left side, if it doesn't start with EPG123 then it is mapped to a MS/Rovi lineup and hence no guide listings.

Hi Gary,
Sorry for the delay. One I click on "# Number" in the client, I then do a "Save & Execute" on the configuration window.
In the log, I get these 3 entries". I also tried a manual match with the same results.
I see this in the log:
[8/15/2020 5:15:52 AM] [ INFO] Skipped matching BBCAHD to channel 803 due to channel already having an assigned listing.
[8/15/2020 5:15:52 AM] [ INFO] Skipped matching WBZDT to channel 783 due to channel already having an assigned listing.
[8/15/2020 5:15:52 AM] [ INFO] Skipped matching WBTSCD to channel 777 due to channel already having an assigned listing.
It
and
this in the xmltv file:
<channel id="EPG123.91446.schedulesdirect.org">
<display-name>WBTSCD</display-name>
<display-name>WBTSCD (WBTS-CD)</display-name>
<display-name>NBC</display-name>
<icon src="https://schedulesdirect-api20141201.s3. ... w_270h.png" width="360" height="270" />
</channel>
There's no reference to "WYCN" in either the log or xmltv file.
Where does the "WYCN" on the client left column come from?

Channels 803, 783, and 777 (and any other channel that are "skipped" in the log file) are still mapped to a MS/Rovi lineup. The left side of the client shows your tuners with what lineup/station it is mapped to. If the 'Subscribed Lineup' column entry for any channel does not show 'EPG123 Charter Spectrum - Digital (Pepperell)', then it is not mapped to the correct lineup. Using the Match by: [# Number] button forces the mapping on all channels with whatever lineup is selected on the right side... the manual subscribe does as well. Not sure why it appears yours didn't work.
So let's do this:
In the client, for every lineup on the right side that does not start with 'EPG123', click the red 'X' next to the pull-down to delete that lineup from the database.
Once done, select the 'EPG123 Charter Spectrum - Digital (Pepperell)' lineup on the right side (it should be the only lineup available now) and click the Match by: [# Number] button.
Check channels 777, 783, and 803 to make sure the subscribed lineup is populated correctly.

Hi Gary,
Cleaning up the lineups cleaned up a lot. The log file is clean and wycn is gone
I now get WBTSCD, the NBC logo, and the listings on the WMC schedule.
I see WBTSCD on channel 777 in the configuration app and is checked.
In the client app, I see the EPG123 Charter Spectrum - Digital (Pepperell) lineup plus a ZZZ123 Dummy Lineup
With the EPG123 lineup selected, I see WBTSCD 777 WBTSC (WBTS0CD) entry
In the client left column I see:
WBTSCD 778 WBTSCD (STS-CD) EPG123 Charter Spectrum - Digital (Pepperell)
Note: ^^^
is the wrong channel:(
In the configuration, channel FS2HD 778 59305 Fox Sports 2 HD is NOT checked.
This means that, in WMC, I cannot select channel 777 in the Settings/Edit channels list.
So close.....
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, I have no idea what you got going on there, but right-click channel 778 on the left side and select 'Unsubscribe'. Left-click channel 777 on the right side and then right-click channel 777 on the left side and select 'Subscribe'.
Or do you mean channel 777 is not present on the left side?

Hi Gary,
When I unsubscribe on 778 on the left side, 778 goes form WBTS to FS2HD which is correct
When I subscribe on 777 right side, 778 on the left side becomes WBTSCD.
In the left column of the client guide tool, the channel sequence goes from 776 to 778. 777 does not show up in the left column.
I can record the sequence if you want to see a video of these actions.
Thanks,
Dave

Okay, so your tuners are missing channel 777 (left side). Click the undelete button right next to the green '+' button in the client. Is channel 777 available?
You will want to unsubscribe channel 778 again.
Don't need a video, but a picture helps a lot if you post the client form to include the status bar at the bottom.

Hi Gary,
Well, that did it. It all looks good and is working. Thanks so much for your patience.
