Hello all, its been a while :)

Was a member of TGB in the good old days under MS and then here for a while until the practicalities of the hacks i was using the keep WMC functional just getting too much. I've been using Emby (was also a mediabrowser user in the old days too!) since and quite happy with where that is currently.

Anyway i use EPG123 to download my epg from schedules direct and then through a proxy, xteve, import that xmltv file into emby. recently i noticed that i don't have any program artwork anymore just an image indicating broken links. so i raised a ticket with SD who told me there had been some database issues and that i should try clearing my epg cache. i deleted the mxf and xmltv file and regenerated them from scratch but the vast majority of the links remain broken, instead of an image i get (as an example)

<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>
<RequestId>CD3A1A2DA980F58A</RequestId>
<HostId>
VPGviulEHZuHnCvyTH9q+20fK9BWR/l3aoRUQ8n1zBTvjCMWhiAnVhQdGU+HWZn5rxzDSDyaIRE=
</HostId>
</Error>

i reported this to SD again and they asked me to come here. I have a valid SD sub, only just renewed it actually so it doesnt expire until 31/05/2021. I don't see any updates available for epg123 or other options to try that might be more successful than what i'm already doing.

so thats where i am. not sure if i'm expecting assistance from SD or epg123 (personally i think its an SD problem, everything seems fine with epg123) but any help would be gratefully received. thanks!

lol. so i'm still a dumbass. clear cache means click the clear cache button, not just delete the files and redownload them. after a bit of fiddling its all working now.

anyway, hope you are all well and still fighting the good fight against MS!
