Repack How to delete old channel
On May 1, 2020 my area will have one VHF channel and its' subchannels change its' real frequency due to the repack. I know how to manually add VHF channels; I have forgotten how to delete the old channels first. I am using WMC with Windows 7 and EPG123 version 1.3.6. I have quite a few other VHF channels and a rescan does not seem worthwhile as it won't find the VHF channels. Can anyone point me to something that explains how to delete the old channels? Thank you. My PBS station is moving from real channel 13 to real channel 12; the virtual channel and subchannels are not changing. New York City area.

In the client above the left side list, there is a red 'X' to delete any selected channel(s).
There is no method in WMC, other than a rescan, that will delete a channel unless it was manually added in the first place... which may be the case since it is VHF.
So the alternate method, rather than clicking red 'X' in the client, is in WMC go to settings->TV->Guide->Add Missing Channels and if it was manually added, you can click the 'x' beside the channels to delete them.

Thank you very much. This channel was definitely added manually, as this system has had EPG123 from the beginning. I appreciate the support and all the work you have done on EPG123.

How come when I go into WMC and try to select 'settings>TV>Guide' I don't see an option for 'Add Missing Channels". I'm having a problem where I have channel 424 in my line-up and I'm getting guide info but when I select that channel I get a 'No Signal' error. I have this with several other channels as well. I've had the cable guy out and he's checked everything. Is it possible that my frequency setting for these channels are incorrect? I was looking for a way to have the tuners re-load all channels.

The 'Add Missing Channels' option is only for OTA and maybe ClearQAM. Cable channel frequencies are a different matter. I think this may be determined by the tuner you are using, if there is a Tuning Adapter, or you have a filter inline that is blocking some frequencies going to your tuner. I'll rely on others inputs on this.
