No new guide data since setup

No new guide data since setup or paying for schedules direct 3 days after initial setup (inside the 7day free window) initial setup worked well. sorry for the excesive length of logs but didn't know what was relevant. Noticed yesterday data was expiring. So tried switching to client mode and didn't seam to work and then switched back to full. Screen shot on bottom shows epg123 screen and a file dated the 4/10 which I don't know if this is the important one that guide uses and is not updating or wmc is not looking in the right spot. WMC says guide expiring 4/28/20 1:30am. Spaces are where I edited recordings out or changed dates on log.

EPG123 checks to see how many channels are available for download and compares it to how many you had configured it to download. If the difference is to great, it will abort the update. This is to prevent large chunks of station disappearing from your guide due to any server issues with Schedules Direct.

Considering the timing of this, I suspect you maybe deleted an OTA lineup from your membership which created a large drop in total stations available. To fix, open the configuration GUI and click the [Save & Execute] button. This will rebaseline the number of stations you are downloading and the update will succeed.

Thank you both. Fixed it and figured there was a way to shorten this.

2 problems and attempted to fix and then update...
1st guide data noticed getting old so tried same as above save and execute and seemed to work...
Then updated to 1.5.1.0 went fine then received errors once opening WMC on 14th.
then today on 15th went to check and more errors and guide missing from WMC...OUCH!

SO either I fix or start from scratch either way I appreciate any help. And if from scratch what I have to do to clean up before starting.

I don't know what the first reason for failing to update is, there is not enough of the log file showing to point to anything. The reason for the second failure is due to the database being corrupted that garbage collection failed and then the import failed. You can try to do a [Rebuild WMC Database] in the client, but may have to do a [Client Setup].

The garbage cleanup wasn't added to epg123 until version 1.3.8.0, so it has not been run on your database since at least February... probably increased the risk of the crash.

Well funny thing after I posted that WMC lost live tv and guide. So I searched for tuners in wmc and it locked up/crashed but... it found them when restarted wmc with channels but no data. Weird! and then restore button used data that must of been from when I saved and executed to start all this and got it back with errors.

I then did as you suggested rebuild and working but have a feeling its still erroring. But have to hape it'll stay up till guide comes up as the reason I have this is I'm on the road quit a bit at times. if that doesn't work I'll start fresh. The only thing I care about is the schedule to record which I believe is in the backup folder.

If I do a client setup again will it purge all the bad data?

Without knowing exactly what happened, a client setup will take care of everything. When you do a client setup, it makes a backup of your current WMC setup and then deletes all of them.

A restore will delete your current database and restore a backup from the past.

A rebuild will delete your current database and restore your current configurations.
