Schedule Scrambled on HD Network Channels

#1

Post by Paul123 » Mon Feb 24, 2020 1:38 am

We've been using EPG123 w/ Schedules Direct for almost 2 months now. A couple of weeks ago the schedules of the HD versions of the network channels got time shifted by different amounts depending on the channel.

For example, if I look at 10PM for Monday 2/24
Ch 4 - The Good Doctor
Ch 104 - Live with Kelly and Ryan (from 9:28 - 10:28 PM), this program is actually broadcast from 9-10 AM
Ch 5 - Little Big Shot
Ch 105 - KING 5 Early Morning News (from 10:00 - 11:00 PM), this program is actually broadcast from 5-6 AM
Ch 7 - Bull
Ch 107 - Judge Judy (from 9:48 - 10:18), this program is actually broadcast from 4-5 PM

I've contacted Schedules Direct. They responded back, that the schedules they have been providing are correct and to try this forum.

Using WMC, Win 7.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks - Paul

You are not using EPG123/Schedules Direct. You are still using Microsft/Rovi. I recommend you perform a Client Setup again and remember to deny the Program Guide Terms of Service during Step 2.

Thanks for your reply. I'm still learning the vocabulary here, but I subscribed to Schedules Direct in Jan when Microsoft discontinued supporting WMC w/ Schedule updates. I'll try running the Client Setup again.

MS stopped end of December, then started back up again beginning of January. They then stopped again end of January and started up again in early February. Recently everything from MS/Rovi has been a jumbled mess, so that is what you have been using. You never actually setup EPG123 to provide your guide listings.

Thanks Gary!! - Your response explains why when I originally set things up it took a few days to load schedules and then a month later we were seeing 'No Data' for a time then it came back again. As you suspected, I must have missed the step about denying the Terms of Service the first time I set it up.
I reran Client Setup and all is well.
