I see in my log file this error

[2/8/2020 1:07:32 PM] [ERROR] Error using ehPrivJob.exe to start ReindexSearchRoot task. Exit code: -2147218141
[2/8/2020 1:07:32 PM] [ERROR] Exiting runWmcTask(ReindexSearchRoot). FAILURE

Any way to fix it?

Having this error means you failed to kick off the 'Microsoft\Windows\Media Center\ReindexSearchRoot' task which is the primary method, and then failed the secondary method to manually run "%SystemRoot%\ehome\ehPrivJob.exe /DoReindexSearchRoot" from a command shell.

There are probably quite a few ways to "fix" the above, but I think the easiest is actually to remove Media Center and then add it back in. The removal of Media Center does not delete the ehome folder, so when you add it back in, everything will still be there except any guide tweaks you may have done.

I am using Win10. I did not see the task in the task scheduler. I removed Media Center, restored it, and still do not see that task. We will see if I see the red icon again.
