Outdated channel logos, and can't get guide tweaks to stick

So I did a fresh install on 12/31/19. I used "clean start" and everything went smoothly so major kudos to Garyan2 for the great work. I have 2 issues though. When installing I clicked "Collect SD logos" and it worked great but I'm getting outdated logos (former channel names) for Paramount Network and Pop, and the IFC logo is transparent and doesn't show up. I've checked Zap2it and they've updated the logos. I've tried deleting the logos and reinstalling to no avail.

The second issue is that no matter what I do, I can't get the guide tweaks to work. I increase the number of rows to 10, click update and nothing happens even after restarting WMC multiple times. Is there another step I'm missing?

For the logos, if you find a logo you like you just need to copy over the existing logo in the .\logos folder by the callsign. The .\sdlogos folder is just to collect all the logos Schedules Direct has for all you channels. They can, and typically do, have multiple logos for a channel and same may be old and some may be new. Once you get the logos figured out, you won't see it in the guide until after you update the mxf file and import it.

For guide tweaks, have you used other programs that tweak the guide? Particularly the Media Center Reset Toolbox?

Way back in the day I used Guide Tool, but recently uninstalled it. Could remnants be interfering?

I don't think Guide Tool did any tweaks like that. There is a fix either way to clean out what other programs may have done. It is basically an uninstall, reboot, reinstall of WMC. Nothing will be lost and WMC will work as it does now, but it refreshes all the dll's and the GAC.

When doing a tweak in WMC, does it ask for permission to take control of a file and does it look as if the tweaks are applied and it is just the WMC guide doesn't change?

It does not ask for permission after hitting update, it just closes and nothing has changed in WMC. Come to think of it, there was a corrupted guide problem awhile back that required me to flush the data and start over. The eHome folder which I cleared has quite a bit in it right now and I'm unsure if that's normal.

The client shouldn't close when clicking the [Update] button. This indicates the the client is still "using" the dll file and closes itself... I haven't found why it might keep that file open nor a way to handle it yet.

I recommend you remove WMC, reboot, and then add it back in. After that, try the Tweak WMC.

I'll give it a shot. Thank you for a great program and quick responses.
