Donated! I'm using Plex and not WMC, but the epg123 tool allowed me to get accurate EPG data for the live TV. The default Plex data was quite inaccurate. I was able to update the Plex EPG in one simple step and didn't lose any functionality. Love this tool!

Are you using Schedules Direct data? Heads up--that violates SD's terms of service. For all sorts of reasons, SD takes that seriously.

Best that anyone doing this backs off of that plan.

I want to add my thanks to Gary for his efforts to extend the life of WMC. I've just donated again after a year of flawless EPG123 performance and great update support.
Regards,
Brian

Thank you Gary! I have 3 WMC boxes and one of them I recently converted to Windows 10 out of necessity. The other 2 boxes are mostly WMC and Win TV. I've had to use a browser to look for programs and manually setup schedules. The WIN TV program often crashes and I loose a lot of programming. The last Superbowl only recorded 17 minutes so no replay :( And my better half also has been complaining. I recalled efforts to replace the EPG on media center so I did a search yesterday. I now have 2 machines setup and working just like they used to. No more Win TV and missing programs. Hello to all my recordings having the same extensions and being in folders where I want them and my lady friend is pleased. A much better interface and improved reliability. I am very grateful and returned to say thanks and find a way to give back. :)
Win10 and Hauppauge QuadHD with WMC 8.8.4 and EPG123 - DVR movies and special interests
Win7 and Hauppauge HVR-2250 with WMC and EPG123 - used to digitize VCR and LP albums
Win7 and Hauppauge with WMC and EPG123 - watch TV

I want to add my thanks to Gary for his efforts to again extend the life of WMC. I've just donated to Gary again after a year of flawless EPG123 performance and great update support. I also renewed my Schedules Direct subscription and sent a donation to TheGreenButton.tv. I'm thinking about adding two more XBOX 360 Slims to my "whole house" WMC set up. I'll have to take a look at what is available on EBAY.

Best Wishes and Happy New Year to Everyone.
Kevin

New MSI installer works a treat. Saves so much time and faffing about on my Satellite setup.

EPG123 is also great except that I find that the new client tries to be helpful and causes problems in my personal circumstances.

I'll post details of the issues I encounter once I fully understand what is going on.

Thanks again Gary!! Yes!! I'm so very grateful!! Send him MONTHLY DONATIONS for all the hard work he's done to make WMC a MUCH BETTER product than it was when Microsoft bailed on it! I've just completed a new Windows 7 installation on a "new" (rescued) box using Comcast cable card and it's working GREAT thanks to the reliable and well thought out system Gary's developed for EPG123!! (Now to reinstall on the old box to use as a backup)
