Does EPG123 prepend 123 to each channel name for XML TV data?

I am on the latest version of EPG123, and I'm using it to generate a XMLTV file that I consume with JRiver Media Center. I have an odd situation where every channel name has 123 at the beginning. Is this normal or has something changed about EPG123 that would cause this? I'm still new to XMLTV files, and JRiver so I'm not entirely sure where to start with everything. I have a help thread on their forums here where I'm working through the problem, and trying to find the cause. https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index. ... 562.0.html

No. I suspect JRiver is using the unique ID of the channel and trying to determine channel number from it.

I had installed JRiver a couple weeks ago to check it out using my XMLTV file and didn't see this behavior. Where is it showing up for you?

A unique channel ID from me is EPG123.123456.schedulesdirect.com. The [123456] number will be the station ID from Schedules Direct. Other XMLTV generators either just have the call sign, or something like I4.1.123456.schedulesdirect.com where 4.1 is the channel number.

I had an odd situation where every channel was mapped channel 123 so I only got one channel in my guide. I don't know how it got there but the issue is gone now. I'm still trying to sort out how that happened, and I asked on their forums if they use the unique channel ID.

I think if you configure EPG123 XMLTV to include channel numbers, that will solve the problem.

... and configure it to include channel logos as well.
