One channel's signal disappeared

Running Win7 WMC. Tuner card fed from FIOS box. EPG123 v1.2.15 and schedules direct.

Recently one channel (WGBX) no longer has a signal when I manually tune (Live TV) or when a scheduled recording selects that channel.
I tested with NextPVR (which I could never get to work reliably) and it tunes wgbx. So the station is available on the feed from the FIOS box.

Lineup: Verizon Fios Burlington - QAM (Leominster)
Call Sign Channel StationID Name
WGBXDT 44.1 31719 WGBXDT (WGBX-DT)

From Linuep services
WGBXTV 44.1 WGBXDT (WGBX-DT)

I don't understand which of the pieces (WMC, EPG, or Schedules) determines what the channel/frequency mapping is. So I don't know what to try.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanx,
Drew

PS some other channels don't have a signal either, but I don't care about them.

The tuner/frequency setup is done by WMC. Since you have QAM, I wouldn't be surprised if Fios didn't change some frequencies on you.

In WMC, do you have the option to settings->TV->TV Signal->Scan for More Channels? If so, give it a shot and it might find 44.1 at a new frequency.

WGBX Burlington 44.1 is supposed to be found on UHF 43, so it should have been discovered by the standard SCAN done by WMC.

You didn't mention what type of TV tuner card you have, but can you use TS, but can you use TSReader Lite (free) to actually see what's arriving on channel 43? I believe 64QAM and 256QAM are supported, and presumbably WGBX is carried copy-freely, so you should be able to see what's physically arriving on channel 43.
