EPG123 clients are asking to download guide data

#1

Post by KarterJK » Tue May 07, 2019 10:35 am

I have been using EPG123 for at least 5 months now, and all of a sudden my clients are asking
"Guide listings will be out of date in 3 days, download latest guide listings?"
I clicked "OK" and a few minutes later it reports "download successful" and I click "OK"

BUT

every time I click on the guide, it repeats it the above questions again.

The guide it's self shows the correct details, I tried to reset the server, yet the problem persists. How do I stop it "forever" hopefully?

You stopped updating a while ago and have less than 3 days of data left. Take a look at your trace.log file and find where the error(s) is/are.

The prompt in WMC is when your guide data drops to only 3 days or less. This is internal to WMC and clicking the 'download' button does not do anything since you are no longer getting your data from Rovi.

I don't know. It has been running fine for months. But my trace.log showed the last update was a week ago and then nothing. I usually only pull 14 days. I have changed it to 21 and restarted everything, I will just watch and see what happens. Perhaps the Task manager got reset somehow, I will just monitor for now.

Thanks

What does the 'Scheduled Task' are of the configuration gui or client gui say?
