Recording shows

I am a little confused on this issue.

Using the original WMC software, if I wanted record a series, it would automatically record the series in it's entirety, as time went by.

However, with EPG123 that doesn't seem to be the case, I only download 14 days worth of information, it recorded 2 weeks then stopped? How does that work?

Uhhh, it sounds like you ran EPG123 manually one time. Did you create a scheduled task so that EPG123 runs every night?

^what he said.

This happens enough that I think I'm going to have to find a way to remind users that Done ain't Done until you create a scheduled task. Next release is soon ... benchmarking a new feature.

The scheduled task is on the left side, if that is what you are referring to.

The guide is being updated nightly... when I look at the trace log it shows as completed.

I have been running it over a month and a half, and all information is current. This was the server machine, and all my other PCs are being updated correctly.

So is the server machine supposed to be doing the recording? If so, is it importing the MXF file as well? ... the task on the server would have to include the option to automatically import selected in the configuration GUI which is represented as Full Mode in the client GUI.

Yes, it is doing all that you said....
BUT
my apologize I believe I know what the problem is. When I set up each of my PCs, I assign them each their own tuner (one only). So I believe the problem is, I was probably watching another channel at the time it was supposed to be recording, and of course it would need two tuners to do this, and would then not record because the tuner was in use.

I will have to set up my machines a little differently (8 of them). boogers :x

The reason I started assigning each PC only one tuner, was because I would constantly get a 'Tuner not available' error, when WMC would do it's automatic searches.

Sorry, about that.
