I just received notification that the UK Schedules Direct lineups have changed, effective immediately. Old lineups have been deleted and replaced with new regional versions due to upstream changes. I guess most EPG123 users in the UK are going to have a reconfiguration job on their hands this weekend.

Switch over went quite smoothly. I changed from the generic YouView lineup to a regional Freeview lineup.
I went into Lineups in EPG123 Configuration and deleted the old lineup and added the new lineup in a single go; i.e. made both the changes and then hit Apply & Exit. My selected stations were retained which is what I was hoping for (my config file HD override settings were also retained).
I then went into EPG123 Client Guide Tool and found that only a couple of my channels had retained their subscription. I am not sure why a couple had whilst the others hadn't, as none of the Call Signs or Numbers had changed. So I automatched based on Number which restored the subscriptions.
This restored the Guide in Media Center and after a few moments Scheduled Recordings was repopulated with no losses.

Wow. Would have been nice to have had a heads up on this. I would have pushed out a minor update just to get you guys the new lineup preview ability. This gives the user the ability to right-click a lineup when searching/adding lineups to your account which will list all channels in said lineup. Might make this transition a little easier.
Looking at the feedback on SD forum, there may still be some issues.

Only started using epg123 and SD at the beginning of Nov and have been really impressed - nice one garyan2........
but...... did similar to IT Troll and moved from emley moor transmitter (using the freeview option right at the bottom of epg123 listing) to using post code and now it looks like Im going to loose about 10 station listings according to the SD guide listing
anything I can do to get them back?

Submit a ticket with Schedules Direct... let them know what channels are missing from the lineup. It usually doesn't take too long for them to get it corrected (couple days).mawse1 wrote:Only started using epg123 and SD at the beginning of Nov and have been really impressed - nice one garyan2........
