I no longer see season/episode info on each recording. Anyone else notice this?

You mean in the Program Description metadata after recording or in WMC's schedule displays? It's there for me in both but this version fixed a formatting bug that got reintroduced in 1.0.0. You may need to call up the GUI and (re)set option to include it, resave IIRC.

Okay thanks. I checked the box in the GUI. Should I see the season/episode info in the list of scheduled shows?

Not in the "view scheduled" list itself. If you hover over a scheduled recording in that list, you may see it in the description for shorter ones. But long descriptions usually are truncated and it won't show up. So then click on one to bring up the recording "synopsis" and it should be at the end of the program description. If you change the options you can put it at the beginning if you prefer then it will show always even in the brief descriptions of the list. You should also see it if you are in the schedule spreadsheet itself and click on an upcoming show to see the "synopsis". it will be below the show description.

You do have to run a schedule download, rebuild the mxf and import after setting those options though before any changes show. Those options control how data in the mxf are formatted.

I clicked the checkbox in the GUI, then clicked Save & Execute. I don't see the season/episode anywhere in the Scheduled Recordings list. How do I schedule download, rebuild the mxf and import?

Save & Execute does it. You should have them.

Negative. I used to have the season/episode info, but it disappeared after an EPG123 upgrade.

Doesn't make sense, could you post the trace.log text from the last update?

I ran EPG123 again this morning and the season/episode info has returned!

Problem #1 was the option was not enabled in the EPG123 GUI.
Problem #2 was there was a widespread FiOS issue in the north-east.

Here is what was in the trace log for every single channel:

Code: Select all

[9/13/2016 4:07:14 PM] [ALERT] Failed to parse the schedule Md5 return for stationId 11331 (WCBS) on 2016-09-13 and after. message: Accessed JArray values with invalid key value: "2016-09-13". Int32 array index expected.
