Not a "problem" per se, but more of a question:
I have dedicated HTPCs running W7 WMC that are always on. So when I want to watch TV, I simply turn on the monitor/tv set. When on the main WMC menu, the EPG123 logo indicates the last update. However, if I haven't used WMC in a few days, when I turn on the screen the logo reflects a date a few days ago. After I interact a bit with WMC and return to the main menu or when I minimize the WMC window and then return to full screen, the date updates.
Is there a way to get this to update automatically when the guide is updated daily so that when I turn on the screen the date actually shows the date of the most recent guide update?
Not a big deal, I was just wondering if I'm missing enabling some setting or otherwise doing something else wrong.
Thanks!

I run my system in the same way. I believe Gary has investigated this previously but couldn’t find a way to periodically force a refresh.
One option would be to have a scheduled task which uses something like NirCmd to minimise and then maximise Media Center just after your update runs.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep that workaround in mind.
