Streaming from WMC7 to Windows 10?

#1

I'm really chomping at the bit to get onto Windows 10. I've already accepted that I need to keep my Win 7 machine for WMC. If I were to get a new computer running Win10, is there a way to stream live TV from my Win7 machine to my Win10 machine? This may be a very generic question, but I am newbie when it comes to streaming capabilities. Thanks for your understanding.

Just install WMC on your Win 10 machine and connect to your tuners directly (assuming you have network tuners). Otherwise, what you're proposing won't work.

I have a ceton infinitv usb 4 with cable card. I dont know if that qualifies as a network tuner.

I'm not sure how tuner sharing would work in that case. You may want to consider selling your USB tuner and getting an ethernet one. Get a Prime (or two) would also give you live tuner access via Kodi (or is it Emby?) in case the hacked version of WMC for Win 10 ever stops working.
