how to get epg123 guide data showing?
Windows I accidently got fooled into an update overnight from 1909 to 20H2, used to use stop updates 10, but switched to a reg hack that apparently fails to stop updates, oh well.
So WMC was dead this am.
I downloaded the latest WMC setup, thanks very much garyan2, and reinstalled it and it is working, except for my guide data is all empty right now.
I also updated epg123, and can see my listings. I am a paying for data from schedules direct.
How can I manually tell it to update the guide data in wmc?

ok, I see you click save and execute and it fills the guide data into wmc
I have done nothing to see it it has a task to execute, it used to before I had a mini disaster, so will it again be updating guide automatic?

you need to configure the Schedules Direct account details, required channels and optionally, set up a scheduled task in the EPG123 'server' component.

Looks like when you installed the latest epg123, you installed it in a different location. If you want to keep running from its current location, just delete the existing scheduled task and create a new one for Full Mode.

It looks OK if your PC is always awake, if not you probably want to check the "Wake" checkbox so that the PC will wake up to do the update and then go back to sleep.
Also, you should change the scheduled update time from "0:00" (midnight) to something other than that, as that time is a very busy time and may cause you (or the server) issues due to it being too busy. It is best to pick a time that is not on the hour ("00" for minutes) as again, that is what most people do which makes the server busier during those times. Pick a time like "4:44" or "5:22".
Note that you have to pres the "Delete" button to remove the current task before you make any of the above changes and create the task again.
