Windows 10 KB4490481 Update BSOD is due to WMC 8.8.2

Recent Windows KB4490481 update causes PC's with WMC 8.8.2 installed to BSOD.
Must be restored from backup - does not even make it past the 30% install point.
Verified it is due to WMC 8.8.2 by uninstalling WMC 8.8.2 and successfully installing KB4490481.
A post on another web site indicates trying to install WMC 8.8.2 at that point also causes BSOD.

Suspect "Update Tuesday" in two days will NOT go smoothly for WMC 8.8.2 uses.

I have this on EVERY PC I own.
I hope the developer sees this post (or someone contacts them).
PLEASE fix WMC 8.8.2 for us !!!

Thanks.

From another site.
Fixes issue.
Do this after install 8.8.2
Try removing entries from registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontLink\SystemLink]
-MS PGothic MC
-Segoe Media Center
-Segoe Media Center Light
-Segoe Media Center Semibold

Thanks !!!
That works both ways:

1 - Delete Registry entries and then install KB4490481
2- Uninstall WMC 8.8.2, install KB4490481, reinstall WMC 8.8.2 then delete registry entries !!!

FIXED !!!

For those interested... Cumulative Update KB4493509 Windows 10 v1809 Build 17763.437 - April 9, 2019 worked fine for me without making the above registry changes. Also, my Media Center remained intact, though I did download 8.8.2 just in case.
