Trouble using XBOX 360 as extender for WMC on Windows 10

I have been trying to set up my XBOX 360 as an extender for WMC on Windows 10. The message I get each time after enter the code from the XBOX is "CONFIGURATION ERROR: An error was found while configuring your computer with this extender" Now there is an extender listed but it is marked "not setup" - I'm wondering if anyone has had the same problem or any ideas of how to fix it. I have disable av and firewall, and allowed streaming to the xbox and this has made no change. I am using wmc v10. Here are some screen shots regarding the extender

Which win 10 WMC version are you using? From what I understand you need to use v8.8.1. Also do you have all the proper ports forwarded in your router/firewall UPNP turned on?

I'm using WMC V10. I have one port forwarded for the xbox - i currently have the firewall turned of while working on this issue. I figure i would turn it back on once I got it solved without the firewall and worry with the firewall then. Where did you hear that WMC8.8.1 had to be used?

I'm not 100% sure you may be having a issue similar to this https://forums.mydigitallife.info/threa ... ost1277777

There was a mention of a post for an xbox 360 fix. I asked for link - hopefully I will hear back.

Another dead end. I decided to download all the files i would need for the process first. The two files in the first link have been taken down, so i tried to find a version of WindowsMediaCenter_10.0.10537.0_x64 to extract the files myself. I was not able to find it. Do you know of somewhere I could find that version?

I don't. You could ask crash2009 as he was using it trying to get echo to work on win 10.
