WTV file recording date issue

#1

Post by a1blues » Thu May 06, 2021 4:38 pm

Hi, just a query if you can help with a problem i am having with media center recordings.
Say i record something at 11.45am when i right click the wtv file it shows the correct time the recording started in the recording time section.
However when I use ffprobe or ffmpeg to fetch this variable it reports the time to be 10.45am, a hour earlier?
I wondered how I can get the correct time as i need to recall the time for a script i am working on.
I have included the wtv file, a small version to illustrate along with the ffprobe results.
My clock is set to the right time and to the correct gmt time zone for uk.

To me, it is obviously a daylight savings time issue.
One 'clock' (your PC) is using it, the other (ffprobe) is not.
Retain your sanity, use Shark007 Codecs
