Hi Folks;
Our provider (Shaw) made about 40-50 channel lineup changes about a month ago. The guide in Media Center 7 is still all screwed up. I've posted several times over at connect.microsoft.com and even included a one page .pdf with a complete road-map to all the changes.
They're useless (connect.microsoft.com) and when they reply, it shows that they didn't even bother looking into it. Tons of people post the same issues with the same provider so it's clearly wide-spread.
Can a person use a different guide service in Media Center 7 ?
Is there any way to escalate this issue so that the 'people' at connect.microsoft.com actually do their jobs?
What do others do when they are in the same boat and the guide becomes useless?
Guide all Screwed Up as is Connect.Microsoft.Com

Thank you SO MUCH !!!
I've been trying (for months) to get Microsoft to actually address the issue, as have several other people, and all anyone ever gets at connect.microsoft.com is the royal run-around. It's terrible and really indicative of Microsoft's commitment to Media Center and their understanding of how important the guide is. Truly an exercise in frustration.
I never knew you could 'go direct' and skip over the Microsoft layer altogether. That alone is is a miracle. Thank you VERY much for the great reply!
